Company history

In 1862 Kaspar Tanner laid the building blocks of our company with the establishment of his technical ropery in Dintikon, near Lenzburg. Today Mammut Sports Group AG is an innovative enterprise in the development, production and the distribution of alpine, outdoor and snow sports products. Belonging to Mammut Sports Group AG are 4 distint brands the alpine equipment producer Mammut, the shoe producer Raichle, the sleeping bag specialist Ajungilak and the skiwax and care product expert Toko. Since 1992 the Headquarters of Mammut Sports Groups have been located in the Swiss town of Seon, where today 200 people are employed. Mammut Sports Group AG is active worldwide through its agents and subsidiaries which is now a well established network to guarantee distribution around the globe.
